MOVEMENT
The Panerai P.2005 movement is a remarkable achievement by Officine Panerai. It features a sophisticated tourbillon regulator that completes two rotations per minute, compensating for positional errors caused by gravity and friction. With a 6-day power reserve, visible from the back of the watch, and a dual time zone function, the P.2005 combines technical prowess with elegance. Although the tourbillon isn’t visible from the dial side, a small colored disc discreetly confirms its presence.
THE BASICS
The Panerai Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT Titanio (Ref. PAM 00306) is an exceptional timepiece with a 47mm titanium case, a warm brown dial, and a manual-winding movement (P.2005 caliber) featuring a tourbillon complication. Its GMT function allows tracking of a second time zone. As part of the Luminor 1950 collection, the PAM 306 pays homage to Panerai’s robust design heritage.
